Byran and Charne’s wedding at Bahri Wedding Venue at the Vredefort Dome took place on a beautiful Autumn day in the Free State town of Parys.
The hour and a half drive from Johannesburg was well worth it – surrounded by mountains and situated close to the world famous Vredefort Dome, Bahri Wedding Venue is second to none in terms of beauty and opportunities for photos.
The Chapel and wedding venue at Bahri can accomodate up to 200 guests and provides a rustic Wedding Venue feel while leaving you at peace with your surroundings.
Byran and Charne not being your usual style couple, certainly chose their venue with care and I could not wait to get a night shot with the stars. The last image was taken at 11:30 at night. Parys being very far from the nearest major city, provided the kind of starry night that a city dweller could only dream of.
Night shots are one of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding, as the couple is far more relaxed and it provides an opportunity to play with light that makes most photographers envious!
